Had my weekly read of Brian Madden’s site today.. Glad to see that he’s covering the 64bit Terminal Services Webcast as I’ve missed it completely. As most people will only go to 64bit for huge applications (read : databases), there is indeed a large target audiance for terminal services as we’ll be rid of the 2GB of kernel ram that can be adressed - allowing you to stuff more people on the same box. Sweet.. Also put the Halo 2 sticker I’ve received at the belgian launch on my XBox looks a lot more stylish suddenly, now I only have to put it in a place where I can actually see it from where I’m usually sitting in my living room.

Went to check out “The Terminal” yesterday with Zavke at Kinepolis Brussels. I liked the movie, now I usually like most of the Tom Hanks movies and untill the closing credits I totally forgot it was a Steven Spielberg movie. If you get a chance you should check out this movie. I wont tell much about it as it is very easy to get into a spoiler…
Got passed cleaning up the place after the birthday gathering.. Thanks to all for attending and the stuff you left behind (Burnout3, SW:Battlefront, a pretty nifty plant, apple pie, BerlinerDigital DVD, Babylon5 S2). After 3 hours of Burnout3 playing I’m already in the 3rd car class, time for some crashes now.. Highest I’ve gotten in damages untill now is $580.000
Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Rammstein in Antwerpen ! Yesterday the germans came back to Belgium. Last time they visitied the BrabantHal in Leuven, this time the Sportpaleis was the selected target. After a 2 hour drive from Brussels to the hall (huge traffic jam to get there, how could that be possible ?) we got some nice spots in the standing area. The conert was sweet as you expect it to be from Rammstein, sadly the soundmix during the first 3 songs was pretty bad but that got fixed. Highs definately ‘Sonne’, as always, and ‘Amerika’ together with red, white and blue ribbons shooting all the way into the hall. Alho I didnt get why they put ‘Stripped’ as the last song, they certainly didn’t go out with a bang.

Aha, yes typeing again. Got the new laptop and the stuff set up so that I can do some HTML editing while not sitting at my desk. So I’ve moved the current ‘news’ page into an archive page where you can keep on reading the stuff. In the meantime I’ve also updated the “who’s behind this” page with all the new hardware. I’ve got me a new TV as my old Lifetec box decided to call it a day. As the laptop at the office wasn’t reall up to spec anymore to use at home (700mhz, USB1, 6GB HD) I swapped it for a Dell Inspiron with the full Centrino kit (Pentium-M, Wireless A/B/G, Bluethooth) - so with this the WAN Router had to be replaced as well by a Linksys WRT-45G. The router sure is a breeze to set up but it took me 2 hours of trying and testing to get XBox Live working on the thing, seems that in the end switching off uPNP did the trick.
