As DJefke had his birthday some days ago the deal was struck to hop over to Cafe D’Anvers. Long time since I’ve been there and since then it seems you need to have a mandatory membership card.. Well so I got one. I still find the place a tad expensive but hey, such is life from time to time so you better get to live with it. Respect go to Koffie for filling up the car with oil before departing and listening to all the Seabert memories on the way back.
As I’ve left DHL I also had to hand in the good olde Nokia 6310i sadly enough. The new provided phone at FitIT was not really up to spec so lets go shopping. Something that was quite of a must have was Outlook synchronization and bluetooth so the inital pick was the Motorola V220, but at the end it didn’t make it.. Why ? Well, I found a dutch online shop where I could order the QTek 8020 (or HTC Feeler and about a gazillion other names used for selling it directly from telecoms). So the QTek had won and I had it 4 days after transferring the cash. And boy is this a very sweet smartphone. Recomended !

Need a reason to get yourself a, announced using lotsa hoopla on mtv, XBox 360 ? The lads at Bizarre Creations have just announced Project Gotham Racing 3 for this console. Now Sony and Nintendo will also announce some consoles, but dont think I’ll be interested in those (har har)

Some people line up in queue’s for weeks, other buy charity first screening tickets or sneak in during a press screening in cannes - or you can just go to a midnight showing in your local town.. Of what ? Well duhu.. Today saw the release of SW-ROTS, or Star Wars Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith for thos that cannot read the short names of the movies. Not wanting to spoil the movie for the rest of the world : its the best of the prequels, on par with “Jedi” - so you know what to expect… Only notes that I have to scream about : PLEASE explain me what the Wookies do there, and Natalie Portman still can’t act.
Back after a month… There was enough for computers for a month so yes, you probably missed some comments about that dude that died and gotten replaced by his sith apprentice but then it would probably only bore you.. In the meantime the weather has gotten better and as a sidenote I’ve said the peeps at DHL Aviation goodbye and started to work as a Systems Engineer with a company called FIT IT. You’ve probably never heard of them but check the website. First looks seem that there is quite some cool stuff going on there and lets make the best out of it. Stuff that comes with it is a company car (what, no more Daewoo - Sorry Chevrolet ???). Well not imediately no.. Got a temp car today in the form of a Smart ForFour. Now by name this really sucks but if you get over the point that the back seat is utterly useless if you want a) boothspace and b) legroom in the front this is a pretty nifty car. Ofcourse its overpriced but as I dont have to pay the ticket price - what can I complain.
